Thanks for stopping by, feel free to take a look around and get to know our cattle dogs and corgis. We are a small farm in Taylorsville, NC where we train quarter horses and raise some of the best cattle dogs around. I fell in love with cattle dogs when I got my first blue male 21 years ago and I can not see my life with out them now. I haven't had my corgis as long but the same with my cattle dogs, I knew when I met the first corgi, I was in love! My dogs are all with me daily while we are working the horses and they love the life of being my constant trail companions! We have a few litters of puppies per year, those puppies have went to new homes all over the US, Canada, as well as Russia, Spain and Japan where they have excelled in the show ring, become wonderful working/performance dogs, or just a family's loved companion. We would love to help you choose your next trail buddy, agility partner, working dog, show prospect, or family companion!
We specialize in AKC Australian Cattle Dogs and Pembroke Welsh Corgis and feel that is it important for each dog to have their own duties. Our dogs are ALL first and for most family pets and my constant companions and are not just breeding dogs. We have a handful that we have selected for breeding that have the qualities and conformation of the breed that we would like to pass on. We breed for temperament and conformation. Quality is what counts not quantity!
Whether we are breeding for work, show or pet, the quality must be the best. We do not have an unhealthy dog in our kennel nor a flea or tick. Our puppies are on a strict deworming and vaccination schedule. They are socialized with our dogs and family daily. We believe that the more social a puppy is, the better dog he/she will make.
Even though these breeds are known to have "natural" instincts, they still require time and training. The outcome is the direct result of the time and effort you were able to give as well as the dog's abilities.
These dogs are good companions and tend to choose their owners. They need plenty of exercise and keeping them occupied will help keep them out of trouble. All puppies leave our farm with a health guarantee and go only to approved homes. The most important thing for us is that dog and person are an equal match!
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have as I love to talk about our dogs! We hope you enjoy meeting our dogs here and we look forward to helping you with your new family member!
